(Finance) – US producer prices recovered in June. According to US Department of Labor (BLS), producer prices rose 0.1% month on month compared to -0.4% the previous month. Analysts’ expectations were for growth of 0.2%.
Every year prices recorded an increase of 0.1%, a value lower than the consensus (+0.4%), compared to +0.9% in the previous month.
THE prices of “core” goods and services, i.e. the index purged of the more volatile components such as the food and energy sectorsmark +0.1% on the month (+0.1% the previous month) compared to the expected +0.2%, while on the year they register +2.4% after the previous +2.6% (+2 .6% expected).
