(Finance) – The orders of the American industry slip by surprise. According to Department of Commerce of the Bureau of the Census, in July 2022 orders showed a decrease of 1%, against the + 0.2% estimated by the consensus and against the + 1.8% recorded in the previous month (revised data from + 2%) .
Excluding the transport sectororders fell by 1.1% from the previous + 1% (revised figure from + 1%).
