(Finance) – Both industrial and manufacturing production in the United States in March 2022. Theindustrial activity it recorded an increase of 0.9% after the + 0.9% of the previous month (revised by a preliminary of + 0.5%) and compared to the + 0.4% expected by analysts. On an annual basis, there was an increase of 5.5% (+ 7.5% the previous month). The production of motor vehicles and components it increased by 7.8%, while the production of factories in the other sectors increased by 0.4%.
There manufacturing production it recorded a growth of 0.9%, against the + 0.6% of the consensus and after the + 1.2% in February (data confirmed by the preliminary reading).
In the same period the ability to use relative to all industrial sectors, it rose to 78.3% from 77.7% the previous month, a level higher than analysts’ estimates (77.8%).
