(Finance) – Increases weekly gas storage in the USA. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a division of the US Department of Energy, gas storage in the week ending September 29, 2023 increased by 86 BCF (billion cubic feet).
The figure turns out to be slightly higher than consensus (+92 BCF). The week before there was an increase of 90 BCF.
The total stocks they therefore reached 3,445 billion cubic feet, an increase of 11.6% compared to a year ago (when they were equal to 3,088) and an increase of 5.3% compared to the average of the last five years of 3,273 BCF .
