(Finance) – Prices are decreasing weekly gas storage in the USA. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a division of the US Department of Energy, gas storage in the week ending December 1, 2023 decreased by 117 BCF (billion cubic feet).
The decline turns out to be greater than consensus (-105 BCF). The week before there was an increase of 10 BCF.
The total stocks they therefore reached 3,719 billion cubic feet, an increase of 7.3% compared to a year ago (when they were equal to 3,465) and an increase of 6.7% compared to the average of the last five years of 3,485 BCF.
