(Finance) – Weekly gas storage in the USA is growing as expected. According to theEnergy Information Administration (EIA)division of the US Department of Energy, gas storage in the week ending July 8, 2022increased by 58 BCF (billion cubic feet).
The figure is in line with consensus estimates. The week before, there had been an increase of 60 BCF.
The total stocks therefore reached 2,369 billion cubic feet, resulting in a decrease of 9.6% compared to a year ago (when they were equal to 2,621) and a decrease of 11.9% compared to the average of the last five years (2,688 BCF ).
