(Finance) – Price growth in the US real estate market slows in October. The FHFA index developed by the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which measures US housing prices, recorded a monthly increase of 0.4%, after the 0.7% growth recorded in the previous month. Analysts’ estimates were for an increase of 0.5%.
On an annual basis, the index, calculated on the prices declared by the properties at the time of taking out the mortgage with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, rose by 4.5% as in the previous month.
