USA University of Michigan consumer confidence declines in April

(Finance) – The index that measures the US consumer confidenceaccording to the latest survey conducted by the University of Michigan, which published the definitive estimate. In the month of October 2024, the consumer sentiment index stood at 70.5 points from 68.9 in the preliminary reading and from 70.1 in the previous month.

The component relating to also has been revised upwards expectationswhich is positioned at 74.1 points from 74.4 in September and from 72.9 in the preliminary round, while that on current condition it was adjusted to 64.9 points from the preliminary of 62.7 points and from the 63.3 of the previous month.
