(Finance) – Rise more than expected US construction spending in October 2023. The figure, communicated by the US Department of Commerce, stands at 2,027.1 billion dollars, recording a growth of 0.6% on a monthly basiscompared to analysts’ +0.4% estimates, a higher pace than September’s +0.2% (revised from a preliminary +0.4%).
Every year instead, an increase of 10.7% was seen.
Between private buildingswhose expenses rose by 0.7% to 1,579.3 billion dollars, those of residential they grew by 1.2% to 884.4 billion dollars. Spending in the area public marked an increase of 0.2% to 447.8 billion dollars.
