As we said before, Apple uses AI in its products, but it hasn’t released a generative AI product like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google Bard. Instead, Apple’s AI is used for things like enhancing photos and autocorrecting text.

According to CNBC’s news based on Bloomberg, the US company is on track to spend $1 billion a year to develop productive artificial intelligence products. The report states that the spending occurred at a time when the company was trying to catch up with some of its competitors, such as Google, which had introduced new artificial intelligence products and features.
In the news in question, it is also reported that Apple has so far developed a chatbot known as Apple GPT within the company, in addition to its own major language model framework Ajax.

In the same news, it is claimed that the company wants to integrate artificial intelligence into Siri, Messages and Apple Music. For Apple Music, for example, Apple will allegedly use AI to create automatically curated playlists, similar to what Spotify does through its partnership with OpenAI.
Allegedly, the company is also exploring using AI in Xcode to help app developers.
