A sitting President of the United States Joe Biden has announced that he will seek another term in the 2024 elections.

Biden made the announcement to the campaign page (you will switch to another service) with the video he uploaded. The title of the video is: Let’s finish the job.

The central theme of the campaign is the opposition to republican extremism. The video begins with images of Capitol Hill, which former President Donald Trump’s supporters took over in January 2021 in an attempt to prevent a change of power after Biden defeated Trump in the election.

– When I ran for president four years ago, I said that we are fighting for the soul of America. We are still fighting, Biden says in the video.

According to Biden, the decisive factor in the future of the United States is whether the country is more or less free.

The video repeats the central ideas of the Democratic Party, such as social security, democracy and respect for human dignity. Biden states that taxes should not be lowered in such a way that only the rich benefit from it.

Biden says he wants to act against hatemongers and gives everyone a fair shot.

Donald Trump’s possible rise as Biden’s future challenger has already been considered. The video mentions MAGA extremists who “want the power to decide what health solutions women can have, to ban books, and to tell people who they can love.” MAGA is an abbreviation of Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again”.

According to the campaign page, Biden’s vice presidential candidate is again Terrible Harris.
