Confidential documents from US President Joe Biden’s term as vice president from 2009 to 2017 continue to emerge. In a statement, US President Joe Biden confirmed the allegations by the US media about new classified documents from Biden’s vice presidency, stating that the documents were found in a locked garage. Biden said, “People know that I take confidential material seriously,” and that he is fully cooperating with the relevant authorities as part of the investigation.
“Among personal and political documents, lawyers discovered a small number of Obama-Biden Administration records that were marked as confidential,” said Richard Sauber, one of Biden’s advisers. “All but one of these documents was found in the garage of the President’s Wilmington residence. Found in warehouse. The document, consisting of one page, was found among materials stored in an adjacent room.” Sauber stated that they are in full cooperation with the relevant authorities.
‘I DON’T KNOW THE CONTENT OF THE DOCUMENTS’
“Confidential documents” from his Vice-Presidential era were found in Biden’s office in the capital, Washington DC, while he was serving as an honorary professor at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania. It was shared that secret documents, intelligence and briefing notes, including topics such as Ukraine, Iran and England, were found in the documents.
Biden said yesterday that the documents in question were found in a locked cupboard by his lawyers and that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was informed. (UAV)
