The US has sent the first of three military planes to Egypt to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The relief flights of food, medicine and winter equipment are the first by the US military since the war began after Hamas terror attacks on Israel on October 7.
The flights start a day after US President Joe Biden said he would use an extension of the ongoing ceasefire to get more aid to Gaza.
