The United States has “temporarily abolished” Ukrainian access to satellite images that the US government purchases, a spokesperson for the US intelligence authority announces NGA.

Maxar, one of the companies that has provided images shared with Ukraine, confirms the suspension. The company adds that there is no “change in the way we support our other consumers or their programs or contracts”.

Ukraine has used the images to follow how Russian forces are moved and to estimate injuries after attacks.

The message comes after US President Donald Trump ordered a break for all military support and also intelligence to Ukraine.
