US June retail sales grow less than

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Retail sales data disappoints in the United States. In June, there was a positive change by 0.2% on a monthly basis to 689.5 billion dollars, after the +0.5% of the previous month. The figure communicated by the US Census Bureau is less than waited of analysts who had estimated an increase in the 0.5%.

Every year registered a 1.49% increase after May’s revised +1.96%, below1.6% of the consensus.

The given “core”i.e. retail sales excluding cars, records a +0.2% on a monthly basis, lower than consensus estimates (+0.3%) after +0.3% in May.
