The Supreme Court of the United States flags for a decision on the issue of whether a state can on its own initiative remove former President Donald Trump as a candidate on the ballot.

The court announced on Sunday that a decision in one case, out of a total of three, will come on Monday.

The most notable is when the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump cannot be on the ballot in Colorado because he participated in the storming of Congress, and thus rebellion against the Constitution, on January 6, 2021.
