US Department of Defense confirms: North Korean soldiers sent to war in Ukraine | News in brief

The US Department of Defense says North Korea has sent about 10,000 troops to the war in Ukraine. The troops are due to take part in the fighting in the coming weeks.

Earlier today, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that North Korean soldiers have been deployed to the Kursk region of Russia near Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and South Korean intelligence sources said for a week that North Korean soldiers were participating in the war in Ukraine.
