According to a report in the Kuwaiti newspaper El Cerida, a US delegation secretly took off from Turkey on a private plane on Thursday and traveled to Iran. The plane landed in the city of Karan, near Tehran, where a critical two-hour meeting was held with the Iranian intelligence-foreign ministry team.
During the meeting, US officials warned, “Netanyahu wants a big regional war. He wants to destroy Iran. Do not fall into Netanyahu’s game.” Stating that they were unaware of the Ismail Haniyeh assassination, US officials said that Netanyahu was out of control.
US GIVES LIST OF MOSSAD AGENTS IN IRAN
During the meeting, the US delegation said, “We were not aware of the Haniyeh assassination” and then gave Iran a list of some Mossad agents in Iran as a gesture of goodwill. The delegation told Iran, “We understand that you are carrying out an attack for prestige. But don’t make it a big deal. If we make a nuclear deal right away, you will deal the biggest blow to Netanyahu.”
It was reminded here that Trump is tougher on Iran and that if an agreement is made immediately with the Biden administration, Trump will have no room to maneuver.
The details in El Ceride’s report were not limited to these. The Americans conveyed to the Iranian delegation that Biden did not want to fight with Iran, that he was not at all happy with Netanyahu, and that they would defend Israel if Iran attacked, but that they did not want a major war.
