The US avoids a shutdown of the state apparatus for the weekend.
That’s clear after both the House of Representatives and the Senate approved yet another short-term budget that could keep several federal agencies running into March.
The short-term funding extension is the fourth in a short period of time and gives the US Congress a few more weeks to negotiate a final state budget for the current year.
