It is stated that the US administration, which has been expressing the risks regarding the land operation in Gaza for a while, criticized the Israeli army for not having achievable goals and plans for this operation.
According to the news of the New York Times (NYT), based on White House sources, the American administration sent high-level commanders with experience in urban warfare, including Lieutenant General James Glynn, to assist Israel.

WHITE HOUSE CONFIRMED
Answering questions on the subject, White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said, “We can say that military officials who we think have experience appropriate to the operations that Israel has organized and may organize in the future will be there to share their experiences.”
Kirby also stated that a possible ceasefire “will only benefit Hamas” and that “innocent civilians will continue to be harmed” by the war. Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari announced yesterday that the army was “ready” for the next phase of the war and that they were awaiting instructions.
