President Joe Biden announced an additional $700 million military aid package to be made by the United States to Ukraine.
Biden said in a written statement, “The Ukrainian people continue to inspire the world with their courage and determination in defending their country and democracy from Russian attacks. America will continue to stand by our Ukrainian partners and supply Ukraine with weapons and equipment for self-defense.” used the phrases.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Ukraine had promised not to use advanced-technology missile systems supplied by the United States to strike territory within Russia’s borders.
“The Ukrainians have assured us that they will not use these systems against targets on Russian soil. There is a strong bond of assurance between Ukraine and America, as we do with our allies and partners,” Blinken said at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
White House Deputy National Security Advisor Jonathan Finer also said in a previous statement that Washington believes these weapons systems will meet the needs of Kiev.
Finer told CNN television, “The Ukrainians are fighting a defensive war. Russian forces are on the territory of the Ukrainians.”
Stating that the Ukrainians could not reach some targets with the current weapons in their hands, Finer noted that the missile systems to be supplied to Ukraine would make a big difference in the southeast of the country where the Russian forces are currently intensifying their attacks.
As part of a new 700 million dollar military aid package, the United States will supply Ukraine with the M142 High Mobility Artillery Missile System (HIMARS), capable of hitting targets 80 kilometers away with precision.
The package also includes ammunition, counterfire radars, air surveillance radars, additional Javelin anti-tank missiles and weapons used against armored vehicles.
