“The objective – the minister reiterated – is to make Italy a platform productive which highlights this new typology of win-win cooperation between Italy and China”. On the second day of his official visit, a note states, Urso had a series of institutional meetings: first with the Secretary General of the CCP of the Municipality of Beijing, Yin Therean authoritative member of the Politburo, and later with the Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Jin Zhuanglongwith which it was decided to create a memorandum of industrial cooperationand between the two ministries.
During the two meetings Urso reiterated the opportunity to further strengthen the ties between the two nations, giving new impetus to the relationships bilateral to thus arrive at fruitful collaborations in the industrial field between Italian and Chinese companies.
During the day, Minister Urso also met with Chinese car manufacturing companies: first with the top management of Dongfengthen with David Zhang, General Manager of JAC. Yesterday, Urso also met with the top management of two other international players in electric mobility, such as Cherythe car manufacturer with the most presence abroad, and CCIGinterested in the production of electric buses in Italy.
The ministerial mission in China was “a two-day event that included a series of institutional meetings and meetings with Chinese companies interested in investing in Italy”.
