Salwan Momika has once again burned a Koran in Malmö, this time in Lorensborg square. About a hundred people had gathered to protest against him.
– For a short while it became a bit unsettling with upset people trying to get through the police cordons, says police spokesperson Patric Fors.
A few people were taken into custody and at least one person was turned away from the scene. The general meeting started at 1pm on Saturday and ended around 1.45pm.
After a Koran was burned on Värnhemstorget in early September, there was a violent riot in Rosengård. Last Friday, the police decided to monitor Rosengård with drones. The decision is valid until 04 on October 4.
