After extensive renovations to the entrance and change rooms, the Wallaceburg Sydenham pool is reopening Monday.
Amy Wadsworth, the municipality’s manager, recreation and community engagement, said they’re looking forward to having residents return.
“The Wallaceburg Sydenham pool is an important community hub for recreation and fitness, and we are thrilled to be able to offer these renovations to our patrons,” she said in a release. “We are excited to welcome everyone back to the pool and hope these improvements will enhance their experience.”
CKRecreation’s swimming lessons will be resumed in Wallaceburg in October. Registration is now open and anyone interested can view all group swimming lesson options and complete registration online at Chatham-Kent.ca/Recreation.
Recreational swim programs will resume once the pool reopens, the release said. The schedule is now online with registration opening a week before each swim time. To view the schedule, visit Chatham-Kent.ca/RecreationSwimming.
