A Tillsonburg man now faces charges of careless driving causing death and failing to stop at an accident resulting in death after a 36-year-old pedestrian died in hospital three days after being struck while crossing the street.
The collision happened Wednesday, Dec. 27, while the female pedestrian was walking across Juliana Drive, east of Norwich Avenue. She was rushed to hospital in London for life-threatening injuries.

The suspected driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old Tillsonburg man, was initially arrested and charged with failing to stop at an accident causing bodily harm and careless driving causing bodily harm.
