Police are asking residents in the area locally known as ‘Bird Subdivision’ to search their home surveillance systems, outside property and buildings for any signs of the woman, OPP Const. Conrad Vitalis said in an update early Friday night.
Lola is described as a Black female, about 5-foot-1-inch in height with a medium build and weighs 145-pounds. She has curly dark hair and brown eyes.
She was wearing a burgundy hat, green puffer jacket and blue jeans at the time she was last seen. She was also carrying a purse and bag.
Vitalis thanked members of the public for their assistance.
People are being asked for “continued patience due to the large police presence as we try to bring Lola back to her family,” he said.
Police are searching on foot, on ATVs and in the air via the OPP aviation unit helicopter, Vitalis said. The canine unit is also part of the search party.
Anyone with information is asked to call Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
