The phone system is back in working order at Brantford General Hospital and Willet Urgent Care Center in Paris.

On Monday, both medical facilities were unable to receive incoming or make outgoing calls through the main phone line due to a cable being damaged during construction work, said officials from the Brant Community Healthcare System.

“Our main phone lines for Brantford General Hospital (519-751-5544)and The Willett (519-442-2251) along with extensions have been restored,” a BCHS representative said in an email on Tuesday morning.
An alternate phone line had been put in place for both sites to allow patients, family members and the community to reach the switchboard.
Construction work is being done at the emergency department at Brantford General Hospital.
