A 20-year-old male wanted for second degree murder has been taken into custody by Brantford Police.
In a press release issued at 1:45 pm Saturday, police said that based on a tip from an alert citizen, 20-year-old Nicholas Craig was apprehended.
Officers responded to the vicinity of Cayuga and Superior Streets at about 9:30 am Saturday where they located a male stabbing victim.
Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died of his injuries.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and was seen wearing a Burberry-style jacket, zip-up black Louis Vuitton shirt, Nike track pants, and red Nike shoes.
Police say the victim and suspect were known to each other.
