Detailed look at the highlight features
What is behind the home show? The new home feature allows you to find, visit, share, and recommend other players’ homes. Senior Systems Designer Cullen Lee explains via elderscrollsonline.com:
Anyone can head to the new Activity Finder section and share their homes with others, or go exploring for themselves. You can anonymously recommend a limited number of homes each week, and these recommendations will in turn influence a changing selection of fantastic homes that you can visit via the ‘Recommended’ section of the Home Showcase.
You can also favorite any home (even if it’s not listed in the home show!) to revisit later. When listing a home, you can give it a name of your choice and add up to three classifications to give an indication of what mood or theme the home conveys.
What’s coming for the Endless Archive? Update 43 is intended to bring more variety to the challenges of the Endless Archive. There will be two new types of arena that focus on the elements of ice and fire. ESO’s Encounter Lead Mike Finnigan explains what you can expect there:
“It will be interesting to see how players approach the Ice and Fire arenas, as they play very differently. In the Fire arena, you may want to move around more often, while in the Ice arena, it’s better to find a safe place to fight. […]“
Dungeon Team Product Owner Shane Slama adds:
“As you choose your verses and visions, you will be presented with new options that can be used to complement your own composition or to influence the approach to upcoming sections. For example, depending on your selection, you can block attacks to use the verse ‘repulsed demise’ to trigger devastating explosions with your next powerful blow.”
With the new challenges come fresh rewards, such as seven class sets, the Endless Eye tool or a Maligraphic Observer as a companion. Did you know? The MMORPG ESO was once a flop, but has now made 2 billion – that was the turning point
