Larian Studios delivers sneak peaks of what to expect

Improved evil endings will be added to the game in the new patch “to enable even darker endings for your darkest runs, and yes, that includes non-Durge players too,” the developers write on the game’s Steam page.

The game makers are also showing first impressions of the new cutscenes. On the Steam page you can see a sequence in which a group of innocents are influenced by the protagonist’s brain powers.

A short video was also released in which you can see a character walking through a field of corpses and bones, while the entire scene is bathed in red.

Larian Studios also shared the scene on X.com. This makes users think of Beserk in the comments:

The cutscenes are musically accompanied by Borislav Slavov. There is a little foretaste here on YouTube.

What bug fixes will there be? In addition to the new endings, several bugs are fixed, such as Jaheira not following the group and not participating in the fight, Wyll’s less than romantic greeting and narrative lines disappearing during the confrontation between Gortash and Dark Urge.

What else will Patch 7 include? The new patch brings official modding tools into play, with which you can customize images, animations, sounds, values and more.

As the announcement goes on to say, they are already working on crossplay and the introduction of a photo mode. However, these will probably only come to Baldur’s Gate 3 at a later date.

Our MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus also wanted to be really evil during one of his playthroughs in Baldur’s Gate 3. The consequences of his actions are clearly rubbed in his face by the game: Baldur’s Gate 3: I wanted to be really bad, but the game rubs it in for me
