The State reimburses up to 90 euros with the new scale of this aid. It came into effect on July 1.
Since July 1, you can save a lot of money by having part of your bills reimbursed. This aid is not new, but it is still relatively unknown to the French who do not know how to benefit from it. Above all, the State has decided to double this bonus since July 2023.
If you are wondering if it is really worth the cost, the calculation is quickly done. The amount of this aid can go up to 90 euros. To benefit from it, households are encouraged to have their broken appliances repaired rather than buying new ones. The “repair bonus” is then calculated depending on the type of device. But that’s not all, you can get the bonus as many times as you have the device repaired. It can climb so climb quickly, provided you repair an eligible device.
Please note that not all devices are yet eligible for the repair bonus. Here is a list and the amount reimbursed by the State by type of device:
- Appliances for breakfast: 20 euros
- Ironing (excluding steam generator): 20 euros
- Drill / screwdriver: 30 euros
- Digital camera: 40 euros
- Games console: 40 euros
- Steam plant: 40 euros
- Washing machine: 50 euros
- Dryer: 50 euros
- Refrigerator: 50 euros
- Stove: 50 euros
- Pod coffee machine: 50 euros
- Wine cellar: 50 euros
- Tablet: 50 euros
- Mobile phone: 50 euros
- Television: 60 euros
- Laptop: 90 euros
For ovens, microwave ovens, desktop computers, food processors and fryers, you will have to wait until 2024 to be reimbursed for part of your repair. From 2025, the following will be added to this list: fans, humidifiers, air purifiers, mobile air conditioners, steam cleaners and beauty devices (epilator, trimmer, etc.).
How do you get reimbursed?
You will be delighted, for once you don’t have to do anything to get this help. No need to advance money either. The amount will be deducted directly from your invoice. The only condition, to call on a repairer approved by the QualiRépar label. It is the professional who will have to take steps with the State to be reimbursed for the bonus.
