The Public Prosecution Service (OM) is demanding up to 3 years in prison against three men from Enschede for their role in a large-scale scam via Marktplaats. The trio is suspected of having defrauded dozens of people by approaching them via the sales site. The victims came from Utrecht, Bilthoven, Woerden, Veenendaal and Nieuwegein, among others. In total, almost 70,000 euros were stolen from the victims.
