This is the solution proposed by a French team, promising to make you save a lot of money by comparing the prices of supermarkets near you. No more tedious research, the app takes care of everything so you can buy smart.
The concept is clear: create a shopping list in a few clicks, and the app analyzes the prices of several partner brands. Depending on the products and prices of the selected stores, you know where to find the best deals. And, in addition to comparing prices, the algorithm focuses on the direct savings you can make. In other words, each basket is compared, and the app displays the total amount for each brand.
According to its designers, a family could save up to 200 euros per month by always choosing the most affordable basket. If the application is currently only available in the Paris region, the young company plans rapid expansion in large cities from the start of next year, then throughout the country within a few months. Additional features are also planned, with an interactive map to view stores around you and filters to access the best deals without having to review each item. His name? Circl.
Small detail to note: the application only compares brands that offer an online ordering service, whether drive or delivery, such as Carrefour, Auchan or Monoprix. This choice helps guarantee stable prices, although the team behind the project is working to establish new partnerships to soon offer an overview of prices in physical stores.
