In similar cases, fraudsters have claimed to work at a bank, but that’s not how banks work either, says Wikdahl.
Afterwards, men and women in uniform-like clothes appeared, whereupon the people left behind jewellery, gold and other valuables. The value of the stolen items is “currently impossible to estimate”, according to the police.
The incidents have occurred during the afternoon and evening in Nacka, Botkyrka and Sollentuna. The crimes are classified, among other things, as gross fraud, attempted fraud and impersonation of a public position.
