Dogs test positive on drug tests
In recent weeks, there have been cases of dogs suffering from strange symptoms.
The veterinarians at the animal hospital performed analyzes of the dogs’ urine – which showed positive for various types of drugs.
The Labrador had ingested cannabis
Among other things, a two-year-old labrador by name Sherlock have tested positive for Benzodiazepine and cannabis. This was noticed after symptoms such as fatigue and wobbly hind legs.
After the examination, Sherlock had to go home and rest.
Urges dog owners to pay extra attention
It is said to have primarily affected dogs in the Västerås area. The specialist animal hospital therefore urges dog owners to pay extra attention that the dogs do not eat things outdoors.
