Bicycle helmets of the Rawlink brand are being recalled due to a lack of support-absorbing ability, the Swedish Consumer Agency writes in a press release.
According to the authority, the shortcomings pose a serious risk in connection with an accident.
The errors appeared in connection with an EU-wide control project, where it turned out that the helmets did not meet current protection requirements. During the so-called impact test, the helmet disintegrated and the impact was not damped at all to the extent required, according to the Swedish Consumer Agency.
The helmets should therefore not be used but returned to the store.
