The Municipal Executive had submitted a budget in which the income was slightly greater than the expenditure. As a result, 588,000 euros remained. The college wanted to add that money to the reserves, but also had no objection if the political parties submitted proposals to spend the money after all. The coalition parties (GroenLinks, D66, Student & Starter, PvdA and ChristenUnie) had agreed that the opposition parties could submit proposals for the money from this reserve.
