Unrest in Poland – sends F16 to border

On Tuesday morning, Russia again attacked several Ukrainian cities with robots. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, so far over 90 people have been injured and four people have been killed in the attacks.

The attacks are the latest in what appears to be escalating warfare by the Kremlin.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is now appealing to the West, which he believes should react and condemn the latest bombing.

“Putin is escalating the terror against Ukraine. Today was the second mass missile attack in just four days. Civilian infrastructure has been damaged; people, including children, have been injured and killed. We expect all states to strongly condemn the attack and take decisive action,” writes Kuleba in a post on X.

The Russian bombings against Ukraine worry neighboring Poland – which is now acting against the threat.

“To ensure the safety of Polish airspace, two pairs of F16 fighter jets and an air tanker were put into action,” the Polish army said in a statement.

Missile in Polish airspace

Last Friday, in connection with a huge attack on Ukrainian cities, a Russian missile flew into Polish airspace. This is claimed, among other things, by the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Defense, Maciej Klisz. The projectile is said to have traveled through Polish airspace for about three minutes. There are no reports of explosions or injuries.

– Everything indicates that a Russian robot entered Polish airspace. It also left our airspace, said Wieslaw Kukula.

During Monday, Putin announced that the country will step up its attacks against Ukraine after the weekend attack on the Russian city of Belgorod, which the Russian president calls “an act of terrorism”.
