Several protests are planned across Britain this weekend.
The unrest following Monday’s knife attack in northeast England continued on Friday evening in the city of Sunderland. Three police officers were said to have been hospitalized.
According to the local police, at least eight people have been arrested.
British Broadcasting Corporation the BBC people threw beer cans and rocks at police in riot gear outside the mosque. There were other clashes between police and protesters around the city, which lies south of Newcastle.
British newspaper of the Guardian according to which the demonstrations have been advertised on social media by far-right activists. Videos of young men and boys throwing stones at the police were shared on social media.

According to the Guardian, several protests are planned across Britain for this weekend.
Minister of the Interior Yvette Cooper said that those involved in the riots would pay for the violence.
– They do not represent Britain, Cooper said, referring to the rioters.
According to Cooper, the government supports the police.
Three girls died in a knife attack
Authorities have said that misinformation is spreading on social media about a British-born 17-year-old boy who is suspected of killing three girls and wounding several others.
According to the BBC false claims have spread on social media that the suspect is an asylum seeker who recently arrived in Britain by boat.
The police have urged the public to avoid speculating on the details of the case while the investigation is ongoing.
A 17-year-old boy is suspected of having attacked a Taylor Swift-themed children’s dance class in Southport, near Liverpool, on Monday with a knife.
The girls who died as a result of the attack were 6, 7 and 9 years old. The police have not considered the case to be related to terrorism, but the motive for the act is unknown.
The suspected attacker has been charged with three murders and ten attempted murders.
