Unreadable ballot papers – crash in Oregon

Unreadable ballot papers crash in Oregon

Tens of thousands of ballot papers in Oregon in the United States cannot be read by the voting machines, as the barcodes are blurred.

The primary election failure affects up to 60,000 of the 90,000 postal votes cast in the state’s third-largest constituency – and will delay results by weeks.

Now election workers in pairs of two – one belonging to each party side – must manually fill in new ballot papers and double check. A work that takes place at eleven o’clock.
