A previously unpunished 40-year-old has been sentenced to eleven years in prison for a particularly serious drug offense since he brought in and sold about 74 kilos of cocaine in 2020, the Police Authority writes in a press release.

He is also convicted of possession of just over 100 kilos of cannabis, distributed in several different places in Stockholm during October 2021.

Parts of the evidence were in the encrypted chat service Sky Ecc.

In the verdict, which was handed down at Södertörn District Court on Monday, SEK 17.5 million is declared confiscated, which the 40-year-old is considered to have received through his crime.

Another person is sentenced to three years in prison for a serious money laundering offense, after taking out almost six million kronor from Sweden. The money was hidden and packaged in vehicles.

A third person involved is sentenced to two years in prison for a serious drug offense, when he kept a large amount of cocaine in his apartment in Helsingborg.
