“Look, this is really worthless. The street is not getting any better,” says Roel Freeke from restaurant Lokaal Wittevrouwen on the Griftstraat in Utrecht. Several fiber optic connections have been installed in the street. The street had to be dug up, but now the stones are no longer as they were before, there is sand everywhere and tiles are not straight. “The street will never be what it was again,” says Freeke.
