In Destiny 2, Guardians can unlock their new ultimate “Prismatic” or “Prisma” with “The Final Shape”. However, to enable many build options, players need all of Prisma’s fragments. We will therefore show you all the locations and how you can unlock them.
What are Prisma Fragments? As with every ultimate in Destiny 2, you can customize your build with the so-called fragments. Fragments give you bonuses for stats and effects that can completely change your play style. So in order to put the finishing touches to your build, it is important to have unlocked all fragments.
The new Prisma class for Guardians also has many fragments and you have to earn 15 of them first. You can find out how to unlock them all here. We list all unlockable fragments under their names. You can use our directory to quickly jump to the fragment you are looking for:

Facet of bravery
Location: You can find it in the mission “Ascension” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Climb up the mountain and use the Taken Orbs to open the barriers of darkness. As you climb, you will discover a plane wreck covered in snow. Now keep to the right and jump onto the lower part of the wreckage. You will find the fragment in a golden chest in the wreckage.
Facet of the Blessing
Location: You can find it in the mission “Dissent” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Follow the mission until you open the door to the temple. The chest cannot be missed.
Facet of devotion
Location: You can find it in the mission “Dissent” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Defeat the Scorn boss in the arena and start the phase in which you have to escape. Now run onto the floating stairs and follow the middle path. When you reach the end, the next chest is on the right side of your path in a corner.
Facet of balance
Location: You can find it in the mission “Iconoclasm” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
To do this, defeat the Tormentor at the beginning of the mission. Once you have survived the phase, the chest will spawn. You can’t miss it.
Facet of sacrifice
Location: You can find it in the mission “Iconoclasm” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
After you have defeated the ogre and climbed onto the large construct of the witness, you will find yourself in front of a dismantled statue of a war beast. Now keep left and go into the dark room
In this room there is a small alcove where you can jump out. The alcove is marked with a small lamp.
Follow the alcove until you reach a hidden room. The fragment is located there.
Facet of Grace
Location: You can find it in a chest behind the landing zone “The Lost City” – to do so, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone.
You have to get to the rooftops behind the old tower from Destiny 1, where you came from your first campaign mission. Search the area for three Abomination enemies. You have to defeat these Omens to summon the Prophesied One.
Then defeat the prophesied one in the middle of the scene to get the key “Exalted Prism Key”. Now go left from the overgrown statue of the guardian and stick to this path – at some point you will see the symbol of a chest. There you can open the chest with your new key.
Facet of the remedy
Location: You can find it in a chest behind the landing zone “The Lost City” – to do so, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone.
For this chest you have to collect four lost ghosts. They are located behind the landing zone “The Lost City”. Follow the path from where you came from in your first mission and look for the bazaar. You will find the first ghost on a red pole near a large tree.
The second ghost is outside the bazaar near a chasm. Use the stairs in front of the chasm to go down one floor. The ghost is sitting next to the New Monarchy crates.
You will find the third ghost after you have crossed the chasm and taken the path through the wall. Keep running until you have left the wall. You will find the ghost on the metal structure directly above the door to the wall.
You will find the last ghost further towards the coast on the speaker’s machine. It sits on the mechanism.
Once you have collected them all, all you have to do is go to the coast and defeat enemies. Once you have defeated them all, you will receive the key “Overgrown Prism Key” which you can redeem near your chest.
Facet of justice
Location: You can find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Heel” in “The Refraction” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone.
To obtain this fragment, you must complete a puzzle with solar crystals and shaman runes in “The Refraction of Light”. The puzzle can also be completed solo, but to avoid wasting time, it is better to complete it in a duo.
The puzzle is simple: behind the chest are three chained Schar runes. You must now activate these. To activate them, one player must go to the higher floor and place three solar crystals in three different pools. However, only the second player, who is on the lower floor, knows which pool has the correct symbol. So one player must announce while the other places the crystals.
Once you have broken all three seals, you will have to defeat many enemies and bosses. After the fight, you will receive the key “Lightbreaker Prism Key”. You can use this to open the chest.
Facet of rule
Location: You can find it in a chest in front of the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Rift” – to do so, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone.
Make your way into the wall until you find a locked golden chest. To open it, you have to equip machines with elemental charges in a secret room to the left of the chest.
To free the machines from the ice, you have to shoot them with a scorching weapon. Once they are free, you have to charge them. To do this, you have to find elemental charges in different places and deposit them in the machines. Each element offers a different type of energy:
You will find the energy charges scattered around the wall and wrapped in ice chunks. You must also shoot these free with your scorching weapon. Once you have charged the machines, another abomination boss will appear. Defeat him, receive the “Split Prism Key” and open the chest.
Facet of resistance
Location: You can find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Transgression” – to do so, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone.
Follow the path through the dead end to the Witness’ Castle until you reach the point where there is a Guardian statue in the middle of the place that is impaled. Now go left past a magenta stone into a cave.
In this cave you must now shoot Cruxes of Darkness to be protected from the darkness. Now go into the cave and activate the mechanics. You must now destroy the “Soul of Suffering” enemies, but to do this you must destroy the “Eyes of Suffering” so that the souls lose their shield.
Once you have done this three times, a boss will appear. Defeat the boss, receive the “Transcending Prism Key” and open the chest in front of you.
Facet of Awakening
Location: You can find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Heel” in “The Refraction” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone. You also need the key “Memory: Refraction”, which you get from Mica-10 through the cyst missions. The chest is located on a large tree.
Facet of dominance
Location: You can find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Blossom” in “The Seclusion” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone. You also need the key “Memory: The Seclusion of Light”, which you get from Mica-10 through the cyst missions. The chest is near a waterfall in the area where Zavala’s hut is.
Facet of generosity
Location: You can find it in a chest in the landing zone “The Bloom” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone. You also need the key “Memory: Blooming Light”, which you get from Mica-10 through the cyst missions. The chest is located in the roots of the Silverwing Tree.
Facet of Honor
Location: You can find it in a chest in front of the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Rift” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone. You also need the key “Memory: Rift Darkness”, which you get from the Chests of Darkness. The chest is located at the top of the mountain on the icy wall on a platform.
Facet of loneliness
Location: You can find it in a chest in the landing zone “The Dead End” – to do this, unlock the Pale Heart as a patrol zone. You also need the key “Memory: Hopeless Darkness”, which you get from the Chests of Darkness. The chest is at the end of the area on the left side on a ledge.
Do I have to collect the fragments from my other characters as well? No. All fragments that you have unlocked for your main character are also unlocked for your second and third characters. So you don’t have to search for them again.
