Twitch streamer lvmylv has virtually no viewers but shows nerves of steel in the Steam hit Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. A clip of her inspires the CS:GO fans on reddit because she masters a situation that many fail: In the last seconds of a tight match, the phone rings.
Who is the streamer?
CS:GO is one of the most popular games in the world and the consistent #1 on Steam:
In the final seconds of a tight match, the phone rings
This is her clip: The streamer posts a 41-second clip on reddit showing her at the end of a match as the last survivor of her team, taking out an opponent, defusing the bomb at 0:00:08, and answering a phone call from her mother in the process.
The streamer says it doesn’t come across that way in the video, but the phone was extremely loud and right on her ear. Still, she was able to maintain her focus.
What’s so impressive about that? Even the die-hard CS:GO players on reddit give the young woman their respect and recognition. They joke: the mother is the real star, she urged her daughter to hurry up and defuse the bomb in time.
This “getting called in the middle of the heat” is a situation that players have dealt with poorly in the past. Hardly anyone has remained as calm as the streamer.
“Mama calls to eat during the hot phase” definitely has meme potential:
Again and again there were situations in which the phone rang at the most inopportune moment and the player reacted suboptimal, lost his concentration and failed.
Legendary is the scene when a streamer freaked out on a call (caution, loud):
We have already reported on MeinMMO about another shooter player who was able to draw attention to herself with her great talents:
