(Finance) – Home prices rise in the United States in October. The S&P Case-Shiller index, which measures the price trend in the main twenty metropolitan areas of the United States, showed an increase on an annual basis of 4.2% compared to +4.6% in the previous month, just above the +4.1% expected by consensus.
On a monthly basis there was a decrease of 0.2%, compared to -0.3% in September.
The seasonally adjusted index reported growth of 0.3% on a monthly basis, compared to the previous and expected +0.3%.
