(Finance) – The board of directors of UnipolSai Assicurazioni approved theaccession of the company to the bailout scheme to protect Eurovita policyholderstogether with Allianz, General Insurance, Intesa Sanpaolo life and Post Life. The definitive agreements with the distributing banks necessary to protect Eurovita policyholders will be perfected, in collaboration with the institutions, within the appropriate technical times.
The entire operation, which will be divided into successive phases, will be subject to obtaining all regulatory authorizations from the competent Supervisory Authorities and represents “a strong sign of commitment of the main insurance groups operating in Italy to protect the market and customers of Eurovita”, reads a note.
