(Finance) – The Group Unipol was admitted by the Revenue Agency to the collaborative compliance tax regime (cooperative compliance) and does so with the parent company Unipol Gruppo and its main subsidiary, UnipolSai Assicurazioni.
The collaborative compliance regime has as its main objective: establish a relationship of trust and transparency between the Italian Financial Administration and the taxpayer to increase the level of certainty on relevant tax issues, we read in a note.
In particular, the collaboration is expressed through constant and preventive dialogue aimed at a common assessment of situations likely to generate tax risks. The admission of the Unipol Group is thefinal act of an investigative activity conducted by the Revenue Agency following the submission of the membership application last December 2023.
Admission to the regime is based on possession by the company of an adequate system of detection, management and control of fiscal risks, integrated within a broader internal control system, in line with best international practice.
