In the Elbukemal district of Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria, SİHAs of unknown identity carried out an air attack on a convoy of foreign terrorist groups backed by Iran.

According to the information received by the AA correspondent from field sources, SİHAs of unknown origin, near the town of Elbukemal in the east of Deir ez-Zor, attacked a logistics convoy of foreign terrorist groups backed by Iran.

In the convoy that entered Syria from Iraq and was targeted in the village of Herri in the town of Elbukemal, at least 4 trucks loaded with closed boxes became the target of attacks.

There is no dead or injured information regarding the attack. Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it targeted an Iranian arms convoy on the Syria-Iraq border in November 2022.

IRANIAN AND IRAN-SUPPORTED FOREIGN TERRORIST GROUPS ARE INTENSIVELY PRESENT IN DEIRIZOR

It is known that Iranian and Iranian-backed foreign terrorist groups have an intense presence in Elbukemal, Muhsan and al-Mayadin districts in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
