Unidentified flying object shot down over Canada Trudeau says

This is already the third target that has been extinguished over North America in about a week.

Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau says that he ordered the shooting down of an unknown flying target on Saturday. Trudeau talks about it Twitter (you will switch to another service)– account.

According to Trudeau, the target was shot down by a US F-22 fighter over Canada’s Yukon Territory.

Trudeau said he had a conversation with the US president Joe Biden with about it.

– The Canadian Armed Forces are collecting and analyzing the remains of the destroyed object, Trudeau said in his tweet.

Before Trudeau’s tweet, the North American air defense command center Norad had said that it had detected an unidentified flying object in Canadian airspace.

Trudeau had described the downed target as unrecognizable. Norad’s spokesperson said that the armed forces had identified the target, but did not give further details about the target.

In Alaska, retrieving the remains of a target that has been extinguished is made difficult by arctic conditions

This is already the third extinguished target in North America within about a week.

The United States said on Friday that it had shot down a target flying over Alaska. A week ago on Saturday, the United States shot down a suspected Chinese spy ball off the country’s east coast.

Norad said late Saturday evening Finnish time that it continues the search for the remains of both the target shot over Alaska and the remains of the Chinese ball that was extinguished on the east coast in South Carolina.

However, Alaska’s arctic weather conditions have made it difficult to search for remains. No further details have been given about the object that flew over Alaska, but the US Department of Defense has said that it flew at an altitude of about 12 kilometers, that the object was probably unmanned and that it was the size of a small car.
