(Finance) – To support and give continuity to investments in support of the activity carried out by Current Energy, a company based in Cesena that stands out for its continuous progress in innovation and sustainability. With this aim, the company, founded in 2007 by the parent company Consorzio per le Risorse Energetiche SCpA, supplier of electricity, gas, green solutions and electric mobility services for businesses and households, benefited from a loan of 6 million euro granted by UniCredit. The operation has a duration of 6 years and is assisted by SupportItalia guarantee by SACE.
In detail, it is a Sustainable Future Financinga solution designed by the bank to support companies that are committed to improving their sustainability profile. UniCredit, in fact, at the time of disbursement, it recognizes a reduction in the interest rate to the company, with subsequent verification of the achievement of at least two improvement objectives in the ESG area, pre-established upon stipulation of the loan.
In particular Current Energy aims to save direct/indirect CO2/greenhouse gas emissions and train personnel on ESG topics. The bank also undertakes to monitor the trend of the results obtained by the company.
Support Italy Guarantee it is the extraordinary instrument of the SACE Group envisaged by the Aid Decree to support the liquidity and investment needs of Italian companies impacted by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, especially in relation to the increase in production and energy costs.
